I am now making small wooden keepsake boxes form scraps of exotic woods. They vary in size and shape, depending, obviously, on the scraps from the pile. Some very gorgeous patterns and wood grain appear from these potential bits of firewood. I like to think every little bit of wood has a chance to shine. You will see what I mean (!)
